Delicious mushroom soup not pictured here. Enjoyed the fettuccine. The chocolate dessert was my favorite part. Excellent tea thyme cocktail. Jess our server was knowledgeable and helpful with decisions. Will be returning 😊

We had very high expectations for our dining experience at PepeNero’s for our night out while traveling in Traverse City. We choose this location based off of the glowing reviews, the menu, and the beautiful ambiance. Walking in to the restaurant, we were greeted with warm smiles and directed to our private room for our party of 8. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the wine list and menu. We were very excited to try the house made pastas and some of the different entrees. Unfortunately, not one us felt that the food matched the price or the level of quality we were expecting. Two of our pasta dishes were hard, not al-dente but very under cooked and didn’t showcase their pasta well. One person got the pork chop and the exterior of the meat was very hard which felt like it had been fried. I had ordered the Spanish octopus appetizer because I had wanted something light and I didn’t eat more than 2 bites. It tasted overly fishy, the broth was watery with no flavor and the octopus itself was chewy and unappealing. Our server was attentive and noticed that I didn’t eat my meal so he took the initiative to speak to his manager, took it off the bill and spoke

If you are looking for a fine dining experience with class, elegance, Devine food, and European atmosphere look no further. Everything is exceptional from ambiance, to wine, cuisine, and the knowledge of their servers. Some of my favorites over the years: Gorgonzola Fiocchetti, mushroom gnocchi, Focaccia, and the panna cotta. They also usually have specials that are fantastic.

An excellent experience all around. The atmosphere inside was lovely, our server was very knowledgeable about the wines and helpful in answering all our questions about the menu. The food was incredible. We ordered a couple apps and the lamb chops and fettuccine with braised baby back ribs ragu. Would definitely recommend! The tiramisu dessert was the cherry on top - was light, delicious, and a perfect end to our meal.

Beautifully decorated with a very cozy ambiance in The Commons, I visited in June β€˜25 and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The food was incredibly tasty, only to be outdone by the fantastic service. Although the price point is a little high for me to be a regular visitor, I’d love to come back and try other dishes in the future. Th owner even came out to personally check on our experience and chat with us before my group left, which I really appreciate.
